About GDC Wellness Services

Goal Driven Counseling, LLC is a virtual mental wellness group rooted in community, education, and healing across the lifespan. Founded in 2017, our mission is to empower our clients in the pursuit of their mental health goals while reducing barriers to care in underrepresented communities through virtual care. We accomplish our mission by providing individual, group, and organization based services to those navigating transitions with a desire for maintaining holistic wellness. We have a team of trauma-informed and culturally-responsive clinicians who facilitate workshops and continuing education training, in addition to clinical counseling services. In 2020, we launched the Access Initiative Program (AI) to provide wellness coaching services to individuals who are employed, uninsured, or underinsured. AI is staffed by graduate level interns. Lastly, Goal Driven Counseling's leadership team is comprised of a forward thinking and innovative duo of Licensed Clinical Social Workers. CJ Jones, Manager of Strategic Initiatives, leads the development and implementation of strategic projects and programs. This encompasses both project management and performance improvement work that supports our efforts to provide client-centered care. Melissa Douglass, Founder & Clinical Director, leads clinical services, manages partnerships, and oversees practice administration. Her goal as the leader of Goal Driven Counseling is to increase access to BIPOC clinical professionals through the use of technology. Goal Driven Counseling has a stellar reputation in the community for provided high quality services. To date, we have facilitated 50+ workshops & trainings and in the last year we have provided over 1300+ counseling sessions.
