Geelong is on the cusp of becoming a vibrant Film Hub and we’re encouraging filmmakers to our region as well as supporting local talent. Geelong Waterfront Film Foundation provides grants for filming in the region. Location. Camera. Action. Geelong Waterfront Film fosters Geelong's film industry by promoting Geelong & surrounds as an unequaled filming destination. We aim to increase filming in the region through assisting film and content creators by providing: - A current databse of industry participants - Funding through the Waterfront Film Foundation - Promotional opportunities - Industry events - Film Awards Film buffs and those interested in supporting Geelong's film hub, are encouraged to join as a Friend of Geelong Waterfront Film for just $20. We want to know who's out there too! Filmmakers, actors, crew, post-production, props, and anyone who is part of Geelong's filmmaking scene, is invited to join our Industry Member Database for an investment of only $20 per annum. Tax-deductible donations to the Waterfront FIlm Foundation are greatly appreciated too!
