About Gelateria Gemelli

Gemelli means "Gemini" or "twins" in Italian. Andrew Sabola, a Gemini, ran off to Italy to learn how to make gelato the old school way with his best friend (also a Gemini). In Bologna, they studied alongside the world's best gelato makers. While traveling around Italy they learned that the best way to consume gelato was to wash it down with a negroni on the rocks or an amaro straight up. Andrew returned from Italy, signed a lease, began construction and Gelateria Gemelli was born.
