About Gem Onu

GEM ONU is the geopolitics student association of Grenoble Ecole de Management (also Grenoble Graduate School of Business). Our goal is to get students involved in Model United Nations, and to create an international network of students. GEM ONU was created in 2017, it succeeds to the association Startin’ Block. With a motivated team of students, the association organizes a Model United Nations in Grenoble and in Geneva, and our team participates in many other MUN : in Paris, Francfort, Milan, London and at the UN Headquarters in New York. During these MUN, each student represents a nation at a UN comity to defend the positions and the values of the country about a specific issue. It provides students with negotiating and networking skills, they can learn about diplomacy and evolve in a multicultural environment. GEM ONU also holds a geopolitics newspaper with infographics, maps, videos and articles made by students.
