About Gemmology Rocks

Our aim is to bring gemmology to you. Affordable, accessible, relevant and practical education. So you can learn, wherever you are. Gemmology Rocks was conceived after the founder, Kerry Gregory FGA DGA, had completed her diplomas in gemmology and diamonds via correspondence and started teaching gemmology — she knew how daunting and lonely it could feel when you are not in a classroom environment, and you don’t have a teacher on hand. Whilst it was hard work studying, working full time and bringing up her young son, Kerry had support from some great gemmologists, and it inspired Kerry to provide services to bring the classroom to you —thus Gemmology Rocks was born. Having worked in retail jewellery, insurance replacement and pawnbroking; buying, selling, and identifying countless gemstones and pieces of jewellery in her in career, Kerry has gained a wealth of expertise in the gem and jewellery industry. Above all, Kerry is a working gemmologist, she understands the difficulties faced when studying gemmology or working day to day in the trade has first hand experience and has been profitable for every business she has been in, doing all of these things. Kerry now uses this experience to create curated stone sets, and practical workshops and presentations to bring these skills to you, above all Kerry is passionate about gemmology and jewellery and delivering education in these subjects in an accessible, affordable, quality fashion.
