Gems of Fruit Company is a “DBA” of Packers Food Products, Inc. established in 1987. Gems of Fruit Company received GFSI / BRC – Grade A Certification on November 16, 2011 for our “Good Manufacturing Practices” after being an AIB Superior facility for 12 years in a row (most recently July 7th, 2009) and is also a U.S.D.A. inspected and approved facility. Food Safety and Quality Processes are integral components to our business model. We specialize in Frozen Fruits of all kinds, IQF, Sugar Packs, Berry Blends, Smoothie Mixes, and Fruits in White Grape Juice. We procure USA Fruits as well as import directly from both Central and South America. We serve Retail, Foodservice, and Ingredient industries with both packaged sizes and bulk sizes of frozen fruit. We package both poly and laminate bags as well as stand-up zippered packages to meet the many packaging requirements of our industry. We bring 33 years of management strength and continuity as well as “state of the art” production equipment and warehouse facilities in Edwardsville, Kansas (Kansas City) offering exceptional logistics and quicker lead times to customers. We office onsite with both production and freezer operations in the same complex, both offering a “hands-on” execution of quality and production processes.
