About Geneva Lake Dark Sky Initiative
The Geneva Lake Dark Sky Initiative is a broad-based community movement committed to raising awareness about light pollution in the Geneva Lake area. The Initiative is designed to educate about the adverse effects of light pollution and its simple solutions. We can see the stars more vibrantly by implementing sustainable and intelligent light sources in the Geneva Lake area. Reversing light pollution improves energy efficiency, human health, ecosystem function, community safety, astronomical research, and maintains our heritage of the night sky.
