The Geneva Platform for Resilient Value Chains focuses on supporting resilient and inclusive value chains that are vital to the energy transition and climate change: Solar PV, Wind, Critical Minerals, Batteries, Electric Vehicles and Grids. The Platform provides three essential services: 1. We host and facilitate confidential, pluri-stakeholder dialogues between businesses, policymakers, and civil society stakeholders to improve the resilience of critical value chains. 2. We provide solutions-oriented, academic-quality research that is designed for practitioners and stakeholders that can take actions to address value chain stressors and opportunities. 3. We educate and inform key stakeholders as well as international institutions in Geneva on geopolitical, market, and other supply chain risks, and practical ways to promote more resiliency across value chains. The GPRVC is a non-partisan, not-for-profit platform of excellence located within Geneva University (within the Centre for Trade and Economic Integration of its Graduate Institute). Anchored in International Geneva’s spirit and in its trade, sustainability, mediation, and human rights expertise, the Platform works directly and discretely with policymakers, businesses, and civil society stakeholders. It has an established network of in-country partners essential to understand and make recommendations on local policy and manufacturing opportunities.
