Traditional sales tax technology depends on a USPS address for determining the point sales(transfer of custody of service or tangible personal property). Delivery and field services often deliver products & services to locations that are not assigned a USPS address. GeoInvoice developed and patented the system and method for calculating sales tax at locations that do not have a USPS address. GeoInvoice patented tax technology calculates sales tax on the sale of taxable digital goods(mobile application) at the actual delivery location of the digital good. In most US states the current default point of sale for digital goods is the customer's known billing address.
