Geom Lighting is 'brand' new and our ambition is to create a unique lighting legacy. To design and curate a collection of lighting designs that celebrates culture, geometry and materiality. Geom studio draws on over 30 years of international design experience, encompassing interior, architectural and product design. It was imperative for Geom that our first product set a precedent. So we have launched into 2024 with Obscura, our modular shade system. Obscura is totally unique in concept and design, receiving its Patent in 2022. Created to work exclusively with LED recessed down-lighters, Obscura can be used to "set the scene" in a matter of minutes. Obscura immediately removes the LED down-lighters' flat light and inherent glare, replacing it with warm, focused pool of light. Obscura is a quiet revolution, radically altering the atmosphere of the design narrative or space. No matter what type of design project your company is working on, whether it is commercial or residential, new build or refurbishment, Obscura can be specified new or retro fitted to the billions of existing LED, surface mounted down-lighters installed worldwide. The Obscura modular shade system affords the designer an infinite selection of material and colour combinations. While we will be providing lighting concepts for retail.
