George Grant Engineering Limited (GGE) is a Papakura, New Zealand based company that was incorporated in 1990 as the advantages of steel as a cost competitive framing system were becoming more widely recognized. With the development of better protective coating systems steel rapidly became a real choice for Engineers and Architects both for its convenience, cost effectiveness and aesthetic qualities. GGE continue to invest heavily in their staff, processes, technology, plant and machinery to maintain our competitive advantage and as recently as 2006 we relocated to our own purpose built factory. Central to our ethos is the concept of ‘lean manufacturing’ which encompasses every aspect of our service offering, concentrating on quality and service by eliminating unnecessary cost and time wastage. GGE have a proud record servicing the construction industry in New Zealand and the South Pacific for 34 years, operating out of our own purpose built factory complete with the latest technology and modern machinery. We currently employ around 60 staff and our highly skilled personnel have extensive experience delivering large scale Structural Steel projects for a wide range of diverse customers. We pride ourselves on our expertise across all key manufacturing processes – from Drafting through to Fabrication and Erection – and by retaining these skills in-house we are able to exceed our quality, value and service obligations.
