About Georgetown International Law Society (GILS)
The Georgetown International Law Society (GILS) is dedicated to expanding and deepening students’ interest in International Law. Our mission is to foster a community of like-minded students who are interested in pursuing International Law as their career through events such as panel discussions, guest speakers, and social meetings. We connect students to professionals and academics who specialize in various fields of International Law so that they may understand the field in a wholistic manner. Our members often serve as guides for each other, helping one another navigate the various aspects of the International Law curriculum at Georgetown and make connections that very often last for the entirety of their time at Georgetown and further.
