About Georgetown University Business & Healthcare Association
Our mission is to expose students to diverse career opportunities within the healthcare sector. By providing hands-on experience and mentorship from industry experts, we aim to spark curiosity and prepare students for meaningful, impactful careers at the intersection of business and healthcare. GUBHA is composed of three divisions: Healthcare Investment Department, Healthcare Ventures and Innovation Department, and Education and Research Department. The Healthcare Investment Department provides students with experience in analyzing, managing, and investing in healthcare and biotech markets. The Healthcare Ventures and Innovation Department collaborates with local healthcare startups in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors to support their growth and development. The Education and Research Department equips members with a better understanding of healthcare economics, financing, and policy through structured coursework and independent research. General membership provides students with exposure to the intersection of business and healthcare through access to guest speaker events, networking opportunities, and social events. Applied members will gain hands-on experience by actively participating in one of the three specialized departments, focusing on practical skills, in-depth research, and direct industry engagement.
