About Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Foundation
GAWL Foundation, Inc. (“the Foundation”) is a non-profit organization created in 2003 by the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (“GAWL”). The Foundation’s mission is to encourage philanthropy by women lawyers in Georgia for the benefit of the greater community. The GAWL Foundation strives to provide easy access to community service activities for GAWL members and other attorneys. The Foundation also gives grants to Georgia 501(c)(3) organizations serving women and children, especially in the legal system. Finally, the Foundation awards annual scholarships to select female law students at Georgia law schools who are interested in pursuing careers in public interest law.
