Some 52,000 youths are served annually, including those who are placed on probation, sentenced to short-term incarceration, or committed to the Department`s custody by Juvenile Courts. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Working at DJJ: We seek dedicated, energetic candidates for a variety of positions, including corrections and parole officers, legal services, teachers and librarians, peace officers, health care professionals, including nurses and dentists; food service workers, administrative assistants and more.
