About Georgia Motor Trucking Association
The Georgia Motor Trucking Association serves as the voice of the trucking industry in Georgia. The association has been protecting the interests of the industry for more than 80 years. We are the only organization in the state that provides full-time service and representation for the industry. GMTA offers your company the ability to network with the best trucking companies the Southeast has to offer. Our calendar of events gives you the opportunity to interact with members throughout the state of Georgia. GMTA represents your needs at the capitol. Some of our legislative wins include permanent trailer tags, tax exemptions, protection from shippers negligence, and anti-theft protection. On-going safety training provided through NATMI and the GMTA Safety Council keeps carrier leadership up to date with federal guidelines as well changes on a state level. Members are provided unique sponsorship opportunities at all of our events as well as through our digital marketing tools. Sponsorships are fully customizable allowing members to maximize their ROI and visibility within the association Members can engage with future leadership in the trucking industry through Profectus, an invite-only group that was created to further the development of new leadership in Georgia trucking.
