Geotechnical Consultants, Inc. (GCI) is a professional geo-engineering firm headquartered in greater Columbus, Ohio. We provide geotechnical and environmental engineering services, building envelope consulting, and construction engineering and materials testing services. Our clients are owners, developers, contractors, governmental agencies, and their business partners. We work on wide-ranging projects including higher education, K-12 schools, health care facilities, governmental properties, commercial, industrial, Brownfield revitalization, and residential development properties. Our engineers and environmental professionals are certified in several states, and GCI has two Ohio EPA VAP Certified Professionals on staff. Through Geo-TDR, Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary ), GCI is the specialist in remote Time Domain Reflectometry ("cable radar"), or TDR. TDR is used worldwide in applications requiring "24-7" remote measurement of earth displacements, moisture and conductivity (electricity).
