About German Language School of the North Bay
We are a non-profit German Language Saturday school, offering classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Adult level since 1967 with two campuses in the North Bay, Novato and Santa Rosa. Our Saturday morning German language classes for children and adults are offered to all level of German language learners. Classes Our traditional classes meet on Saturday mornings (excluding holidays) from 9:30am until noon at both of our campuses from September through May. Our two campuses We have a campus in both Marin and Sonoma counties! Our campuses are located in Norvato and Santa Rosa and offer convenient parking. DSD I and II / AP German Preparation for the AP German exam and/ or the DSD I and II exam (Deutsches Sprachdiplom II/ German Language Diploma Level II) are offered to our highschool students. We offer: •Saturday morning classes in Novato and Santa Rosa •Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten class for our youngest students (ages 3-5) •Children and Teen classes with various levels and test preparation if desired •Adult classes from beginner, intermediate to advanced •Online classes •Qualified, experienced, and yearly-evaluated teaching staff •Small classes •Semester report cards •We provide our students in our Youth classes (starting 5th grade) with the opportunity to take National German Exam Level I-IV •Preparation and testing for Stufenprüfungen A1 and A2, Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD) I and II •Preparation for the Advanced Placement (AP) German Exam which offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school and increases their chances of college admission •Latest study materials imported from Germany and technology in classroom teaching •A multinational and diverse student body •German cultural events, celebrations, and culinary traditions Registration To register please view our course catalog on our website for details about the classes available
