About German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce
The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce works for trade, business cooperation, and knowledge transfer between Norway and Germany. Germany is Norway's most important trading partner. At the same time, Germany regards Norway as a strategic ally in the field of energy supply and looks to Norway for inspiration on topics such as digitization. Norwegian and German companies complement each other in many areas. Our vision is to be the natural partner for export-oriented companies and ensure that our customers and member companies benefit from the cooperation potential between the countries. With our extensive experience working within German-Norwegian business cooperation, our interdisciplinary competence, and our in-depth knowledge of the markets, regulations, and business cultures in both countries, we offer companies safe assistance in searching for partners and business opportunities in the respective market. In an increasingly digitized society, we know that customers appreciate meeting face-to-face, sharing experiences, ideas, and identifying opportunities. We create the platform for such exchange through professional and social events, to which we invite our network of Norwegian and German member companies, partners, and customers. The German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce works across industries, but our core areas are digitalization and Industry 4.0, energy, sustainability, and construction. We offer market advice, legal assistance, trade show assistance, and organize study trips for companies that are either active or wish to become involved in the Norwegian or German market. The Chamber was founded in 1986 and today has over 800 Norwegian and German member companies. We are part of a worldwide network of German chambers of commerce abroad (AHKs), with 140 locations in 92 countries. Visit our bilateral blog: https://handelskammer.blog/
