About Get Out Get Love - Redefining recovery from abusive relationships
Get Out Get Love: Redefining Recovery From Abusive Relationships - is founded by Dr Craig Newman, a successful Clinical Psychologist and Behavioural Economist with a national innovation portfolio, and a male DA survivor, supported by a team of Chartered Psychologists, researchers and innovators. Craig's experience of domestic abuse services led him to author the soon to be published book with Hachette (June 2023), “Get Out Get Love: what everyone should know, in and after abusive relationships”. In addition to the book, there is an online, self-delivered therapy programme www.getoutgetlove.com, referred to as GOGL, which is that is easily accessible and affordable, providing long-term support that promotes healing and life building, based on psychological approaches and evidence. The first release of the platform provides users with a year-long programme and rescue resource kit, with further content in development. Furture plans include an interactive App with AI capabilities, further research and much more content. We are interested in talking to charities, family law firms and local authorities that see GOGL as a way of expanding existing services to reach more people experiencing domestic abuse. Alternatively we are being increasingly asked about workplace policies and providing support to employees. For more details visit our website or get in touch.
