About Get Psyched!

Get Psyched! is the Psychology Student Association at the Queensland University of Technology. The association was formed in 2010 by psychology students who wanted a forum to bring together students with a passion for psychology. As the club has grown, Get Psyched! has evolved to incorporate other aspects of students academic lives. This includes professional development, networking, social, and sporting events. In 2018, Get Psyched! introduced their Psych Buddies program to provide a helping hand to first-year Psychology students. Get Psyched! is as yet the only club that exists for psychology at QUT and works in close coordination with the school of psychology, the Student Guild and other clubs. Get Psyched! has established annual events such as our Get Psyched! Ball, as well as discussion and focus groups. The club continues to grow, in its scope and capability to support students.
