Getaway Safari was founded in 2004, when friends asked us to design their safari of a lifetime. They knew our story, that we had spent years living and working in remote parts of Africa, and trusted us to bring their dream to life - and so Getaway Safari was born. What began with one journey grew into a business shaped by passion, deep-rooted connections, and a love for Africa’s wild places. Today, we continue to design safaris that take travellers off the beaten path, blending adventure and luxury in equal measure. We have since branched out to India, Malaysia, and other destinations as requested. With a team who have first-hand knowledge and combined experience too many years to count, we bring unrivalled expertise, authenticity, and care to every journey around the globe.
