About Getting my Cheese Back on my Cracker
Vision To enable a community to overcome generational trauma through the normalization of seeking Mental Health support Mission Removing the stigma associated with mental health, creating a safe space to foster the healing process, and taking the steps to make mental health accessible for the Black community. Objective Through Getting my Cheese Back on my Cracker, we host conversations that provide a platform for addressing stigmas related to mental health in the Black community. By having relatable conversations and walking through real-life experiences and lessons, we shine a light on the fact and fiction related to ideals towards mental health. We intend to ensure everyone in our community knows that there are resources available to assist in resolving generational and new traumas that may exist in their lives. Through this series of conversations, as we grow our platform and build awareness, we will also collaborate with behavioral health professionals and build partnerships to be able to provide the necessary next steps and resources in mental wellness. We will build contacts and resources and push to provide behavioral health avenues to Black communities.
