Our Company Ground Floor Industries started in 2004, serving the greater Toronto and surrounding area. We operate 6 days a week and pride ourselves in providing our customers with Integrity, Quality and Service. We do the final preparation on floors in high and low rise buildings, as well as commercial buildings. Our Services Surface preparation is essential, especially if you plan to overlay or restore existing concrete. We provide a variety of services to prepare cement floors for whatever the final surface may be. We specialize in all types of flooring removal. Using a variety of equipment, we have a proven method of removing tile, vinyl, carpet, hardwood and terrazzo, back to bare concrete ready to be refinished. Concrete grinding for any surface to achieve that perfect floor surface that you’re looking for! Our process keeps the noise levels down and the dust to the absolute minimum. Concrete shot blasting is an environmentally friendly method of preparing concrete, removing dirt and old coatings and preparing institutional floors for the new installation of floorings. A machine projects a large number of small steel balls towards the surface of the floor, crushing the surface. Full flood underlayments are our newest offering that saves both time and money. We apply our own self-leveling polymer modified cementitious product to create the perfect underlayment that’s compatible with a wide variety of floor coverings and flooring systems. Epoxy floor coatings to keep your concrete floors looking smooth, durable and in peak performance. Using our proprietary mix, we work quickly and effectively to create an attractive finish free of any unsightly bubbles and peeling. GFI Inc.’s approach to self-leveling is smart and easy. We use a specially formulated self-leveling, calcium-aluminate-cement-based mix to create a flat and smooth surface with a compressive strength similar to that of traditional concrete. +Many more!!
