Founded in 1929, Gibson's Cleaners is proud to be a leader in Canada's dry-cleaning industry through hiring the most experienced dry-cleaning professionals and operating a plant that uses the most sophisticated garment tracking technology. At Gibson's thoughtfulness comes first. We have made a conscious effort to reduce waste and be as environmentally conscious as possible. We were one of the first GTA cleaners to switch to Green Earth cleaning products, use recycled packaging, and launch a hanger recycling program for our customers. We also make giving back a priority. Over our company's lifespan we have raised significant sums for local charities, collected, cleaned, and donated thousands of coats for the homeless, and sponsored a number of initiatives including the National Ballet School of Canada’s annual gala and Camp Oochigeas. Our customers' needs continue to shift towards more convenience and expertise in servicing the latest fabric care trends. They want to save time and ensure their investment in their wardrobe is in good hands. We solved this problem through launching our mobile app in January 2018 which allows customers to track and monitor their orders on the go and continue to invest in state of the art cleaning technology. Thoughtfulness is the underlying value in everything we do. It's what has allowed us to grow and stay competitive for the past 90 years.
