GICOTECNICA S.r.l. established in 1977 by a group of specialty engineers, today is the sum of experience gained on projects undertaken for selected clients over the last thirty years of activity. GICOTECNICA offers a wide range of services, tailored to its clients requirements and ranging from preliminary studies, engineering and procurement, project management and field services, to "turn – key" projects. The result is a range of expertise capable of providing with high flexibility a large spectrum of services. To increase its presence abroad and pursue new business opportunities, an office in Belarus has been opened in 2010 and subsequently has been awarded the qualification to operate on the the territory of the Republic. On January 2012 GICOTECNICA S.r.l. has been acquired by HIDADA, which is part of Saudi Group XENEL ( www.xenel.com). HIDADA is a large Company that extend its business in many different fields, encompassing the prefabrication of steel structures, construction of pressure vessels and erection of industrial plants. This new status will enable a greater presence of GICOTECNICA S.r.l. on projects in Saudi Arabia in the Gulf and in the Middle East, participating in activities in synergy with other Companies of XENEL Group. Within XENEL Group are also SAUDI Cables, the largest cables manufacturer in Saudi Arabia and NATPET (Polyprophylene producer).
