Gift-A-Lift of Louisiana, Inc. 501-(c)(3) is a vehicle donation program that helps young, at risk adults primarily transitioning out of the foster care system obtain reliable transportation assuring their future success. Without a vehicle, especially in areas without a public transportation system, it is very difficult to hold a job and get to school. Many young adults who are working to better themselves find that transportation limitations make it nearly impossible to get where they need to be. We are working to match donation-ready vehicles to properly trained and vetted recipients as part of the solution in kick-starting an individual's future.
