Gilbert Foodservice has provided sales and marketing representation in the Carolina's for over 30 years. Operating under the same name since 1982, Gilbert started out on a card table in his living room. Ever since, we have been committed to building relationships and successfully representing our principals. Gilbert Foodservice is made up of 35 employees and is comprised of a sales staff with an average of 24 years of experience, coming from different walks of the industry from chefs and restaurateurs, to school directors and retail category management. The sales staff is supported by a top-notch customer service department with an average of 15 years of experience, as well as personnel in roles for marketing, business analytics, and culinary ideation. In an industry that is constantly changing, GFI is unique in that we are the largest and oldest independent broker in the Carolinas. Our entire sales force is equipped with Apple products with access to our own web-based sales tracking system (FAST) designed by our team of IT and operations personnel. We believe this gives us the competitive advantage we need to be able to monitor key account selling and give our sales staff every tool possible to go out and make a successful sales call.
