We are a graphic design studio whose origins go back 1986 when Pepe Gimeno opened his own studio. Some of the work produced in that initial period went on to become icons in the fields for which they were created. This is the case with the Tourism Symbol of the Valencian Community, (the famous Palm Tree), or the logo for the EMT, the Municipal Transport Company of Valencia. As part of a logical progression, the initial project has continued its development, adopting different names such as Gimeno y Lavernia in 1990 and Pepe Gimeno-Proyecto Gráfico in 1995, as the professionals making up the team have changed. This has not been the case with designer Suso Pérez, whose working relationship with the studio goes back to 1987. More recent incorporations include the designers Mauro Gimeno and Ricardo Cañizares, in 2006 and 2008 respectively, and the economist María Cister, who joined the group in 2012 to take charge of administrative management. At the start of 2016, with this consolidated structure, the decision was taken to create a new company to bring in the five team members as partners. We have called this new project Gimeno Gràfic. The new venture preserves the same spirit and values that guided its foundation in 1986: the search for excellence and a firm commitment to the objectives, strategies and aspirations of our clients.
