About Giraffe CCTV
Established in 2012, Giraffe is a technology business supplying solutions to the global security sector, with core competencies in industrial design and software development. We invest heavily in Research & Development, pushing the boundaries of what is possible at the edge. Giraffe established the need for a purpose developed software operating platform for the fast growing, rapidly deployable CCTV security market. We created a proprietary solution to solve the problems of the under investment that we had identified, not least of which was high operational costs. Furthermore, Giraffe saw there was also a need for highly specified, well designed and cost effective mobile security units (MSUs) and CCTV towers (Towers) for supply to customers in the security industry. Giraffe offer a range of technology solutions: 1. Giraffe Edge Controller. The Edge Controller is our own purpose developed state of the art operating cloud software, carried on a custom printed circuit board (PCB). The Edge Controller is at the heart of all our solutions and capable of integration into customer designed security units and towers. 2. Giraffe Mobile Security Unit (MSU). The MSU is our own compact and highly specified design, which is a complete solution for rapid security deployment. Using our own software, the Giraffe MSU is simply a superior and more cost-effective solution than anything else on the market of its type. 3. Giraffe CCTV Tower The Giraffe tower is our own design solution - electric and solar. We have designed the tower to solve the problems we have seen with alternative solutions. It is capable, flexible, portable, and simple to deploy and operate. We continue to innovate and bring new products and services to market. MeerCam (patent pending) and our most advanced agentic AI will be introduced in late 2025. Giraffe’s mobile security solutions are designed to transform your customer’s experience whilst substantially reducing their operating costs.
