About Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council
Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council is a girl-led youth organization that serves more than 4,100 girls throughout southern Idaho and in parts of Northern Nevada and Eastern Oregon. The council, along with a team of 2,300 local volunteers, delivers educational and leadership programs that build girls of courage, confidence, and character who positively impact the communities in which they live. Girl Scout programs promotes critical thinking, problem solving skills and applied learning through an inquiry-based learning environment that helps girls explore passions and develop new interests. Programs are available year-round including after-school and weekends. An essential component of Girl Scouting is community service.
