About Girls Hockey Calgary Association (GHC)
Girls Hockey Calgary Association (GHC) has been a voice in female hockey development in Alberta since 1989. We are Alberta’s largest female hockey association, with more than 900 players enrolled in our 2020-21 season. GHC Jr. Inferno community teams compete in every Hockey Calgary age division from U7 (Timbits) to U18. GHC also houses the largest female AAA/AA franchises in the province, the GHC Calgary Fire, which has two U15 AA teams, two U18 AA teams and one U18 AAA team. Our elite teams play in the Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL). GHC is governed by and supported by Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada. In partnership, we continue to grow the female game.
