About GJ Styles

GJ Styles was founded by Glyn and Jill Styles in 1985 in Leominster, a small town in Herefordshire, England. In 1997, recognizing a demand for antique reproductions in the United States, the business was moved to High Point, NC. In 2008, after several years of success, GJ Styles entered a joint venture partnership with Halo Asia, creating Halo Styles. As recognition of the brand grew, so did the range of product offerings, and Halo Styles ultimately became the “place to go” for new and exciting pieces. In 2014, after six years of partnership, Glyn Styles led a buyout of the company from its Halo partners. The company, now known as GJ Styles, continued to distribute Halo’s products, including brands like Timothy Oulton and Halo, in addition to other popular collections. In 2024, the business was purchased by industry veteran Doug Diemoz, who has held senior leadership roles with Williams-Sonoma (Pottery Barn), Restoration Hardware, and as CEO of Crate & Barrel. He also co-founded and led an upholstery manufacturing operation in Northern California. GJ Styles exhibits collections at their trade-only showroom located in High Point, NC, which is open year-round and welcomes retailers and designers alike. Believing that no order is too big or small, GJ Styles does not have any minimum purchase requirements. All orders ship FOB from the GJ Styles distribution center located in High Point, NC.
