About Glawning

Campervan lovers James & Sarah Martin set out to find a more stylish alternative to a typical nylon camper van awning and found that such a thing did not exist. Not ones to shy away from a challenge, they invented one instead. They found themselves to be the envy of the campsites and festivals they visited with their glamorous bell-tent awning creation, so the Martins decided to share their invention with the world. In 2013, Glawning was founded. Their glamorous awning, the 'Glawning', became an instant hit with caravanners across the UK and beyond. Since then, they've gained a strong fanbase of Glawning-lovers and founded their own family festival, 'Glampfest'. They've also received some prestigious rewards: most recently the 2019 Brand Yorkshire Business Award for Best Micro Business. The team at Glawning strive to provide the luxury of home while you're on an adventure in the great outdoors. After all, why camp when you can glamp?
