About Glide Sculling Boats

Glide Sculling Boats is committed to improving access to rowing as a sport. To achieve this we build sculling boats that are great value, durable and well designed and supplied with everything you need to get on the water. We have started with the GlideOne, a fine-hulled single scull. By using polyethylene, the same material used for many kayaks and sailing dinghies, we have produced a boat that will stand up to the rigours of heavy-duty use but retain the handling characteristics of more delicate composite boats. It has even been raced at the Scullers Head and a number of other events. We are now working on extending our range and will be announcing more details shortly.
