Glimpact is the first digital platform for assessing the overall environmental impact of products and organizations. The ecological transition depends on it: without measuring this impact, how can we know which actions are good for the environment? How can we help manufacturers to improve their products and also help citizens and consumers to make the most ecological choices? We all want to do something for the environment. But we often focus on just one aspect: carbon footprint, protection of the ozone layer, biodiversity... But the environmental impact of a product is much more than that. It also includes soil depletion, fine particles, consumption of water, fossil or mineral resources... In all, 16 different impact categories need to be taken into account throughout a product's life cycle. When it comes to environmental impact, the rule is simple: if you can't see everything, you can't see anything! The PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) method, developed by recognized experts, NGOs and manufacturers, provides a scientific, reliable and objective assessment of this impact. Adopted by the European Commission after 5 years of experimentation, it is the only method that assigns a global, universal and comparable score to a product. The Glimpact solution has modeled this method to make it accessible to all. With just a few clicks, you can accurately assess the full environmental impact of a product, factory or company. The result is a score, an "eco-score", comparable from one product to another, as well as an analysis of the main factors explaining this score, and the levers on which to act.
