About Global Education Policy Network
The Global Education Policy Network (GEPN) is a global initiative developed by Prince Sultan University (Saudi Arabia) (PSU) and The State University of New York at Buffalo (United States) (SUNY Buffalo) with founding partners: Coursera, Hofstede Insights and the Chartered Society of Designers. GEPN was born out of discussions between the two universities in 2020 about the short, medium and long term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on education. Uniquely, the pandemic has disrupted education globally at all levels in a non-discriminatory manner requiring a universal response to address current and ongoing issues that will affect education, its delivery and impact on all aspects of life in the future. In the face of the ongoing pandemic, GEPN brings together leading global researchers and experts to inform data driven policies in education and provide continuing policy guidance for educational institutions, providers, governments, and international organizations.
