About Global Humanitarian Professionals

Global Humanitarian Professionals mission is to enhance the capacity of growing professionals, through a consultative approach. The program provides in-person workshops and trainings. We encourage students and newly qualified professionals, as well as other actors in the humanitarian field, who are wanting to engage in humanitarian work, or who may benefit from an increased knowledge in order to be better prepared for future emergencies to take this course. Global Humanitarian Professionals aims to build the knowledge of young professionals and other humanitarian actors looking to start a career in the humanitarian field, or for those already in the humanitarian field, who need to understand the international humanitarian coordination system, so that they can bring strong leadership to an emergency. We use past real experiences and global networks to ensure maximum exposure and impact. GHPs aim is to work with universities, colleges or NGOs to roll out one of our courses for up to 20 participants. GHP will provide training, tailored support and technical expertise to meet your needs. Our interactive, hands-on training is adapted to the context in which its delivered. Our team have worked in over 15 countries over the past 20 years. They have been exposed, to war and conflict, natural disasters and complex emergencies, and now use their skills to train up other professionals. As a result, our experts are able to teach through both their experiences and evidence-based research about how a humanitarian response is managed. Together we can respond more effectively to the needs of those who have been affected by a crisis globally.
