We are an organisation that engages in four major areas of expertise: Funding programmes and pro bono activities: We are experienced in supporting organisations in the setup, management and controlling of funding programmes and pro bono activities. We are experts in the monitoring of and the assessment of the impact of such programmes. Regional cooperation in HE: The GII is closely tied to the Professorship of its owner, Dr. Uwe Brandenburg, for Regional Cooperation and Impact of HE at the Universitat Rovira I Virgili (Tarragona, Spain). Moreover, the senior members of the GII have decades of experience in initiating, managing and sustaining substantial regional cooperation structures of HEIs with companies, NGOs and regional authorities. Internationalisation: The GII has some of the most experienced experts in internationalisation. We can help you in all aspects of internationalisation, ranging from strategy building and implementation/operationalisation through outsourcing of operative tasks and support in application writing. We can also help with evaluation and assessment of your internationalisation activities. Training and coaching: We can support you through different training or coaching services: we offer Personal Leadership Coaching of Rectors, Presidents, Vice Chancellors, Vice-Rectors, Vice-Presidents or Pro-Vice Chancellors. In addition, you can participate in our Global Leadership Programme which is offered in selected regions of the world (please enquire). Not least, we offer specialised staff in-house trainings ranging from strategy issues through organisational change to internationalisation in HEIs and SME companies. In our work, our goal is to ensure short-term efficiency, mid-term outputs and long-term impact for the partner or client organisation/institution/company. We thereby respect confidentiality which is of utmost importance to many of our clients.
