About Global Jothoor Foundation

Global Jothoor Foundation is a non-profit, development organization aimed to improve the quality of life and social stability of vulnerable communities by offering customized socio-economic programs to communities in order to achieve self-sufficiency. We enable communities to become sustainably developed by focusing on women and youth. Jothoor means roots in Arabic, we selected the name from our belief that communities are globally connected through their roots of humanity. Organizational Mission: We believe that all individuals deserve to live in communities that are thriving, sustainable, and resilient-where they have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. To that end, at GJF, we want to enhance the power of local and national actors through the services that we offer. To achieve our organizational mission, GJF focuses on the following programs: 1. Social enterprise & sustainable development of individuals & communities 2. Community reintegration 3. Cultural heritage preservation 4. Research with a focus on socio-economic problems & solutions for community development 5. Strategic partnerships to bridge the gap between local communities & government agencies promoting social stability & equitable job-markets
