About Global Nature Fund

For more than twenty years, the Global Nature Fund (GNF) has been committed to the protection of nature and the environment. From Radolfzell on Lake Constance out into the world, our development workers and project managers give their utmost – whether for the preservation of biodiversity in Central America, healthy mangrove forests in Bangladesh or clean drinking water in South Africa. Water protection is particularly close to our hearts. Therefore we founded the international network Living Lakes: Together with 112 partners we work to keep the wetlands and lakes of our earth alive and worth living – for us human beings and for the nature of which we are a part. Our helping hand reaches far, but our heart beats in Europe. And we know business: We advise German companies that want to make their premises green instead of gray, and establish alliances for economic action in the field of biodiversity. We protect ecosystems in Southeastern Europe and ensure that the experience of nature is also possible for people with disabilities. From the North Sea to the Black Forest and beyond. Our projects are multifaceted, and we are active on six continents. But one thing applies everywhere: We are on site. We help to get things moving. We act together with the people, know their problems and speak their language. We do not lecture, but listen and develop solutions in partnership. In this way, we make sure that the big picture is preserved in the small details – our precious blue planet.
