About Global Protection Systems
GPX was founded in 2013 by a team that saw a need for personal protection. We were aware that the common civilian was not permitted to own a bullet proof vest or armor plates legally. So we decided we wanted to change that. . After the recent incidents at various schools, we decided to produce a backpack that could in fact save someone's child's life. So we designed the Protect-a-Pack , a backpack for our children to not only carry their books and homework, but to possibly save their life as well. We are slowly starting to understand that schools are sending their teachers through various training programs to aid in the safety of our kids. We wanted to help them out as well. So we designed the PPV. We designed this with the theory that a teacher could put this on to save his/her own life or use it as a shield to protect a few people. The design team also made it easy for the teachers to carry with them by making it collapsible enough to be stored in a bag.
