Global Relief Association for Crises & Emergencies, Inc. (GRACE) is a 501c3 non-profit organization fostering social change through strengthening families and eradicating the vulnerabilities of human trafficking and exploitation. Our co-founders, Jon & Angie Sullivan, established GRACE in 2012 as a coalition of individuals and organizations collaborating to increase awareness of human trafficking and exploitation and prevent trafficking and exploitation. GRACE works directly with more than 120 families in Thailand. GRACE effectively reduces the risk and vulnerabilities (poverty and illiteracy) of individuals and families falling victim to human trafficking and exploitation through the provision of after-school and day camp childcare in family resource centers (FRCs) for children. GRACE provides educational services through a child sponsorship program granting annual educational scholarships and covering the costs of required school fees, uniforms and supplies. GRACE FRCs ensure an encouraging and safe environment servicing young adults, teens and children with the opportunity to overcome poverty and illiteracy. GRACE provides shuttle transportation from local schools to the facilities, after school programs and day camp programs with homework assistance, tutoring, English language skills, computer literacy, problem solving activities, music, arts and crafts, games and fun effectively improve the students attendance and performance in school. Educational support combined with nutritional and wellness support provide impoverished and illiterate families with the opportunity to break free of generational poverty. GRACE FRCs also provide adult enrichment classes relative to financial management, parenting, marriage enrichment, nutritional and wellness skills. Additionally, GRACE provides various counseling services, and research services (internal data ensuring effectiveness and best practices).
