About Global Urban Design

Global Urban Design is a social enterprise that provides the skills and services required for creating great Places. We specialise in Place Creation, Destination Creation and Placemaking. We are happy to work with the private, public and third sectors, especially; landowners, property developers, government agencies, local authorities, trusts, NGO’s, not-for-profits, charities, community organisations and other social enterprises. As Placemakers we know what good places, feel and look like, and how to achieve them. We also know the economic growth, vitality, diversity and inclusion that result from these highly successful places. As skilled built environment professionals we work with you to realise great places and destinations for all, with you, your stakeholders and communities. We believe we have a social responsibility to help others by: + Providing urban design and placemaking services, + Providing training and mentoring, + Developing materials and publications promoting sound urban design principles and + Working with stakeholders and with like minded entities, companies and communities on projects that benefit communities. Our experience covers a range of sectors including: mixed-use developments, residential, public realm, parks and green space, regeneration and extensions, inclusive place design, waterfronts and transportation network planning. People are at the heart of what we do, so we think about people and their needs and come up with elegant, simple, effective, design solutions.
