Our primary focus is on eliminating the risk of permanent loss of capital through a process we call Margin of Safety investing based on client needs. Together with the client, we collaboratively choose a mix of portfolios to meet this objective. Our (Retirement) Spending Portfolio seeks to beat the long-term performance of bonds while taking minimal interest rate risk and low volatility. Our Long-Term portfolios seek to outperform broad market indexes and deliver over 10% p.a. total return in a tax-efficient fashion; they are also generally much less volatile than indexes. Both portfolios are available for differing risk tolerance and tax situations.
