About Global Village
At Global Village we use design, art and technology to develop pathways for people to connect, share and help one an other. OUR NEW PROJECT - STORY mag STORY mag is a free to the people large format printed magazine, containing personal reflections by everyday people who have gone through a life experience and are willing to open up and share their insights and learnings. The stories—some anonymous, and some credited—are engaging, raw and heartfelt, conferring a sense of empathy and deep connection to the reader. STORY shares the experiences of others, communicating growth through adversity, whilst leaving the readers feeling less alone in their own story. The magazine features photography and illustrations by leading Australian artists with the knowledge that art and design can be a powerful force in breaking down barriers and humanising life, offering a new way to relate to mental health, social and emotional wellbeing. Connection is powered by sharing, and STORY is powered by organisations who choose to partner with the magazine, purchase a print run, and then take an active role in the distribution, sharing STORY mag with their people, customers and wider community. The ‘Powered by’ stamp on the front cover of the magazine, identifies who has Powered Up the copy held.
