About Global Vocational Services
Global Vocational Services Inc. has been providing Employment Services in the Cowichan Region since 1996 to anyone who is seeking employment. In April 2012 Global was awarded the contract by the Province of BC to provide the Employment Program of BC in the Cowichan Region. We are the WorkBC service center for the Cowichan Valley. We have two storefront offices in Duncan and Ladysmith and are pleased to be working collaboratively with other community employment agencies in the delivery of these services. Global has 26 staff members in Duncan and Ladysmith to serve you and our partners add 9 other highly qualified staff to the team. Global Vocational Services Inc. is proud to have a staff that brings experience, practical skills, education and certification to their work in assisting individuals in their job search. Many of our staff have or are working toward their British Columbia Career Development Practitioner Certification. This certification sets the standard for Employment Counselling in the Province of British Columbia and demonstrates that our staff meets the Canadian Standard for Career Development. Counselors.
