We specialise in helping writers learn and grow. We believe you have what it takes, and as we go through the process at your side, we’ll help you understand the craft of writing so that you develop your own toolkit to take into every book you write. We don’t just edit; we help you find your own unique voice so your work is exactly what you want it to be. We provide an all encompassing service for writers, ranging from proof reading, typesetting, and cover design to development editing, marketing, and ebook production. If you want to get a book out in the world, we can help you do it. We also provide a platform for charity and community organizations to help under-represented people tell local stories globally. Whether you want to write a YA for the mass market, a memoir to give your family, or a novel featuring queer characters, we’re here to help every step of the way. Don’t let fear of not being ‘good enough’ stop you. All you need to do is have a story and the desire to write it. We’re here for the rest! We offer writing workshops, editorial guidance, writing assessments, and writing retreats to help aspiring writers achieve their dreams. If you have a book you need help with, want to offer writing courses for your staff, or just need some advice on a writing project, Global Wordsmiths is here for you. And you can always come along to one of our international writing retreats to give yourself a whole week to work on your project. Workshops are available throughout the year, primarily held in Nottingham city center, although there are some online courses available as well. If you would like a workshop tailored to a specific group, just let us know. Community projects, which often lead to publication via Global Words Press, are held throughout the East Midlands.
