About GLTF (Gay & Lesbian Tennis Federation)
GLTF is a historic (40+ year old) volunteer-run tennis organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We organize social and competitive tennis events for our approx. 600 members – including USTA league play, clinics, singles/doubles tournaments, and a variety of social events. We host the world-class United States Gay Open (USGO) GLTA-sanctioned tennis tournament, and are the largest LGBT organization in the country who actively participates in USTA tennis leagues. GLTF does not discriminate based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and welcomes all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer -identifying and/or supporting tennis players who want to experience great tennis, as well as developing life-long friendships!
