About Gluco Lodge Assisted Living
Gluco Lodge assisted living opened in February 2009. Our community is nestled in the scenic Cherry Valley area of the Pocono Mountains. Although our focus is diabetic care, you DO NOT have to be diabetic to reside at Gluco Lodge. Diabetes is a vastly growing common concern that millions have been enduring, young and old. Working as a group, it's much easier to manage a common problem and almost always leads to greater results. Uur community as a whole focuses on managing this condition through a daily low carb diet and special programs offering a variety of activities. Our program delivers on a daily basis, three meals, three snacks all broken up through out a full day. With a special menu, certified chef and a daily management program consisting of education, exercise and diet along with regular blood monitoring and diet adjustments practiced on a set schedule we have made it possible for those who are diabetic or not to come together and enjoy a meal and an active lifestyle without the weight of compromise.
